How are the artists selected?

We have some artists that are invited back from the previous year because they earned the honor of Best of Show in their media.  However, the majority of the show is a juried event.  What that means is that a panel of qualified judges blindly screened over 700 applicants in all areas of art that are represented and choose this year’s participants based on the quality of their submissions.  This gives us a show that is of the highest quality possible that has been rated in the top 10 shows in the nation. More details on how the process works is included in the event directory.

When will the “Best of Show” winners be announced?

The winners in each of the media represented will be announced at approximately 5:30 pm on Friday.  Signage on their booth will indicate this distinction.
